Before Streetlight David Lloyd was an operating partner of Porchlight Equity (previously known as Highland Consumer Partners), a private equity fund based in the Boston area.

Prior to his involvement with Porchlight, Mr. Lloyd was the President, CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Bertucci’s Restaurant Corp. At the time that Mr. Lloyd had departed, Bertucci’s owned and operated more than 90 Italian themed casual dining restaurants and had revenues in excess of $200 million.

Mr. Lloyd served as the Senior Vice President and CFO for Taco Bueno Restaurants, a chain of quick-service Mexican restaurants.

Mr. Lloyd acted as the CFO of Taco Cabana Restaurants, based in San Antonio. During this period, Taco Cabana was a public company. The Company was successfully sold in the late 2000s.

David started his career at Deloitte in their audit group and received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Economics (double major) from Trinity University.

David, is currently an advisor and Board Member of Streetlight Acquisition Corp., Burtons Grill and Bar, Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant and Punch Bowl Social.
